Runtime with a 7.2v and 180 motor? Anyone else use this setup?
 

Hello, I just built a pack using 2/3 AAA batteries, 300 mah. 7.2 volts, its very fast but I only get about 2 mins. on a full charge.

Two minutes?! I'm running a 7.2v 300mah pack (2/3 aaa's) and get nearly 15 with my 45T Micro Mod motor. :eek:

I was getting what seemed horrid times with the optional ABC 300mAh battery and later discovered a couple of things: 1). My Novak SPY was fried and 2). There was way too much friction in my drivetrain (both ball diffs needed loosening, and the pinion was meshing too tightly with the spur).

After loosening everything up and installing bearings, I get much better times (as well as having a new ESC).
