heatsink

Does anyoen know of any company that made or makes a heatsink for the tamiya m02? It can be third party. If anyone gas pictures or links to it, can you please post them up? Thanks.

I think Tamiya makes one. Can't remember the product # offhand, but I have one. I bought it thinking it would fit the M-03L chassis and it doesn't. It's called the M-Chassis Motor Heat Sink. You mount it on the inside, between the motor and inside of the chassis...in place of that thin peice of material that is normally there. The rest of it is routed outside the chassis above the motor and has aluminum fins bolted to it.

Do you know where i can still buy it if they still make it? Also Where did you buy yours?

Yeah, I got mine from Tower Hobbies. Enter M-Chassis in the search field.

THey seem to have run out of supply and obviously had the "limited supply" message before. Man, i still want one SOOO BAD! Have any other places for where to get it?

Actually, I just looked and Horizon have it in stock. Just plug the item # in, 53241, and bing....it will pop up. $14.50...I think. But they do have it in stock. Or you can e-mail Tiny RC, and see if he can get it for you through the store. It might be cheaper as Horizon Hobbies prices are usually a bit high.
