frequency

does anyone know how to change the frequency on a zz car.
I want to change my 49 mhz car to a 27 mhz.

filelicker 05-24-2004 04:35 PM

It would be easier and cheaper to buy a new car.
really.

Canadian5_man 05-25-2004 03:36 PM

just for the measure
even though it is extremly more expensive than buying a new zz how would I change the frequency?

You would have to locate the chip in the car and the one in the remote , desolder and remove them and find suitable replacements that will fit .

it's not a chip, it's a crystal. And yeah, you'd have to find a replacement for the transmitter and for the reciever. Good luck.

Yeah I know that , but the terminology doesn't matter when you are looking at doing something that is cost and workwise unfeasible.

Not only the cristals, you must change a few things more on the pcb and the trasmitter. Check differents between transmitters on yahoo group.
