Nitro Xmod

Well I started my latest and greatest project, a Nitro Xmod. It will be powered by a Norvel .08 CI engine use a Bolink clutch and Hitech mini servos. I have alot of work ahead of me and was wondering if any one out there has tried this. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

did your alter ego write that? j/k
if you can do it will you be selling conversion kits?

batesjm 04-05-2004 11:01 AM

Probably not, some of the parts to build this car are a bitch to find. I will however do a setailed buildup letting all of you know how I did it.

I'd be really impressed if you made it, good luck!

Ebay, my friend Ebay. Most of the main components are no longer in production, so its just a waiting game, oh yea I just bought an A-Team van model for a body. Nice

aperson 04-07-2004 05:20 PM

will you be using a smaller nitro engine, or a regular sized one?
what?! you cant get the engine to fit under an XMOD body? make it look like the larger scale cars and put some holes in it. lol

batesjm 04-07-2004 05:33 PM

No it wont fit under an xmod body, and it is smaller than an engine used in a 1/10 scale car.

ya drill holes in the body.it would cool the engine down and you can just say you made the motor heatsink bigger. try super stiff springs to make the xmod handle the weight.
