motor question
 

i ripped a motor out of an old radioshack r/c that doesn't work right anymore. will this motor work without modification to the fets? here is a pic of it next to an xmod stage1 motor

ok...the motor works. now i need a way to mount it..the pinion that came with the motor works fine, its just that the motor needs to be angled down:confused: . how can i hold it in place?

what RC car is it from? you could try using another gear btw the pinion and the spur gear.
