rally style mini cooper xmod
 

i just finished mounting this mini cooper body on my xmod. its 1/24 scale and the tires are lego wheels painted silver but im gonna call it chrome cuz it makes me feel better. any way i cut out the fenders with the dremel and put a spin bush pro motor. now i can drive on the carpet easy.

thats niccccce i love to drive off road.if you like to also(obviously)thencheck out the lift kit i made for my x mod.

where can i see the lift kit? and is it for sale?


EDIT: i found it and its awesome, but i still dont know if its for sale. if it is how much and where can i buy one? it looks just like my 1/10 nitro sport! it puts my crappy lego tires and cheap mini cooper to shame.

I wouldn't mind buying that mini cooper body off of you... I really like the coopers but can't find any good bodys anywhere... I'll give you what you ask for it... I really want one...:D

This is an old thread that I thought I would reply to since the Mini caught my eye... I hope noone is mad at me for bringing up old news....

as for sellin the body its pretty scratched and dented and the top needs to be reglued and all around would be a bad deal for you. You can get a brand new one from towerhhobbies.

As for someone else having this body the only one i know of on this fourm is a guy on the mini x forum. As for the wheel wells lookin hacked thats partially because the wheelbase on this model is better suited to a mini x which is longer than an xmod so i had to stretch the wheel wells a little.

Still wouldn't mind having it... What kinda price you want for it?

its discontinued at tower but believe me you will be much better off finding one in better condition than mine. Mine would take loads of work to turn it into a piece of crap. Thats how bad it is. Like new rear window, paint, filling countless holes from broken off mirrors, door handles, license plates....ect.

I entended on that... It's gonna be my little project... I was intending on shaving everything and making the whole car smooth... Just gimme a price and I'll see if we can work it out... PLEASE???:( :(

Edit: BTW, its for my mom, she loves Mini Coopers and has a $h!t load of collectables of them around the house... I was making her one just for a body like this if I could find one and now I have... She wants Lime Green... LMMFAO!!!
