XMODS Magazine error

Well, i searched the forums for XMODS MAGAZINE ERROR and anything to do with xmods magazine so if this was already posted... i dont care because i did a search and couldnt find it.

in the mini mag the blue stage 2 motor has its black wire disconnected. it hurts to see this.. but its so funny. it demostrates just how shi... the XMODS wiring is. they even published it for the world to SEE! this is pathetic..

Oh, there are a lot of errors and bloopers in the magazine. Lemme take my time to list them all:

PG 6. The skyline's rear end is so high up it looks real funny. Also pg 10 is just outrageous.

PG 13. The RSX's ride height is also REALLy high up. Almost looks like it's ready for off-roading.

On where they show the xmods with the body off, there are no light plugs.

PG 30. The pic in the upper right hand corner, it shows the xmods front suspension... take a close look, the suspenion is fully compressed and yet, nothing's touching it to make it compressed...

PG 35. The crystals are in the wrong place. IE, controller xtal in the car and vice versa. Although it will still work, but they could have at least made it look better.

PG 21. They talk about the heat sink that comes with the stage 2, but in the pic, it's a stage 1.

Look at their skyline pictures. The rear spoiler has a crack in it. LOL

PG19. Lower right corner, the motor connector is red.

PG10. front wheels of the skyline is floating. haha

PG 9. look at the rear deck. doesn't seem to have any screws on them.

Look at the pics that show the underside of the chassis. It's really different from the retail ones. well, i'm retty sure those are concept chassis'.

Page 27: The wheels at the top are Mini-Z wheels...

Oh well, I guess I can understand some of the mistakes are because they were taking pics of prototypes so they could include them in the mag with the production cars. Some, though, like the broken motor wire, are just blatant and laughable.

I bet the editors were peeved that somebody broke the Skyline before they could get a picture of it.

pg 37, the command lights are plugged into the main power source, how are you supposed to plug the motor in??

also, did u notice how all the pinions on every motor are the same??

im beginning to think that the publishers and editors of that mini-magazine were heavily induced on crack cocaine...or theyre all younger than lil bow wow.

Page 5, it says the skyline article is on page 13, and the RSX article is on page 6.....wtf? look through the mag!

Page 6, the front bumper is touching the ground, how can you race like that? and the rear....uuughh...page 8, look at the top of the antenna, a mini-cylinder! Good Grief!

Page 12, look at the rear lights of the honda civic....looks a little empty....

Page 13, look at the rear suspension, what the heck is with those silver screws?

Also, look at the lug nuts on the wheels, what is that silver dot in the middle?

Page 19, look at the gear in the hand, there is a light blue, not a dark!

Page 20, the motors are missing the orange resistor!

21: The motor in the car has neither a metal heatsink nor the plastic mount!

23: The tire treads are different from the ones in the tire upgrade!

PAge 30, the upper right pic: Look closely at the left arm of the car, see the silver peg missing?

Boy oh boy, This magazine does REALLY great justice to the car itself.

Chuckster...

the front cover's skyline has a differnt bodykit then the one on p6

xxspeednplayaxx 01-25-2004 10:22 PM

ok well i decided to take a look in the mag and i must say... wow its like no effort was put in, i found a feel more errors, on page 36 the head likes are yellow? in the article it even says "white head lights" on page 40 under the supra hood is diffrent than mine... on page 30 their shock towers are silver, on page 27 next to the miniz rims, their tires have a diffrent thread design, also on page 5, next to "power up" besides none of the motors having caps, as well as having red connector, one motor is using a light kit connector!! my last issue was disocvered when reading the magazine, their is much reference to porn and sex (not at all offedded) but rather wondering "isnt this a magazine for kids?" lol i can see it now "mommy, daddy, whats playboy?" lol

They are Mini-Z tires. I have a set of those exact tires on order for my MR-02, actually.

The tires on the front cover are also Mini-Z front tires.
