Mini T electronics

I also posted this in the mini x forum. But since that isnt as busy, I thought there would be a greater chance with someone here having experience with both.

Can Mini-T electronics fit into a 1/24-1/28? They have great deals on them on ebay with the radio since most racers replace them with better electronics for the mini t. However, the stock setup should be more than enough for a 1/24-1/28th.

The problem is will they fit? I heard the mini t servo is about the size of a hi-tec mini. But its that combined esc, and receiver that seems most troubling.

For an xmod, they would be awesome especially if you could figure a servo mounting system, since the Mini T has full proportional, and can handle more voltage.

the mini t rcvr/esc is tiny.maybe someone who understands electronics better than me could figure out how to hook the servo out from the mini t to the steering servo already present in an xmod..i'd love to buy an xmod and convert it to 8.4v 7cell 2/3a pack

how many wires are coming out of the mini T servo? if there are 5 then it should work.

I guess you guys are misunderstanding. When they sell the whole electronics system, they are selling everything (the ESC/receiver, controller, and servo). The stock minit servo is four wire, and its circuit board is integrated into the esc/reciever unit versus in the servo itself.
