Using Mini T electronics?
 

Can Mini-T electronics fit into a mini x? They have great deals on them on ebay with the radio since most racers replace them with better electronics for the mini t. However, the stock setup should be more than enough for a Mini X.

The problem is will they fit? I heard the mini t servo is about the size of a hi-tec mini. But its that combined esc, and receiver that seems most troubling.

i think those are pretty big

Do you know for sure though? The servo should fit stick though since it is a mini size (same size as a hitec). The problem I see is the esc and receiver are one unit whihc makes it harder to place.

Maybe take off the cover for it and use shrink wrap to make it a little smaller?

Somthing to consider, Losi outsourced their electronics to a company who makes a "standardized" generic bundle. If you look at the remote, its the same as Duratrax Rocket Racer. Since the rocket is 1/24.. you see where I am going?
