1: how big of increase did you get out of the 6 cell upgrade
2:how much of a pain in the a$$ was it to install
3: did you have to replace the fets
4: have you had any adverse affects from doing this

ok well i havent dont this but heres what i heard...

1. huge increase in speed and torque

2. not hard takes 20mins tops, you basicly splice a wire and add two batts in series

3. no fet mod required unless you run a powerful motor

4. when you start the car the steering goes insane for a couple of seconds, then comes back to normal... its rumered that the shaking is the sero trying to center itsself
due to the extra voltage

speedplaya is right. there is a lot of speed gain, and it only took me about 5 mins to set it up (i just twisted the wires then wrapped the exposed wire in electrical tape). i havnt experienced the steering thing though.

yea, I also experienced the steering thing a tiny bit sometimes with my 5th cell upgrade. Other then that heat and everything isnt really a problem. My biggest problem was trying to get the stupid thing to fit under my spura's shell. in the end I just wound up having to jack up the body a tiny bit with a stock bushing from my XMOD in the back... but it doesnt look too bad. Look for a post "decietful supra" frombad company, thats where I got the spacer idea from!
