Well I was thinking, and seeing the foglight mod really started me thinking about underglow. And if I positioned like 8 or maybe a few less, and directed the light a few certain ways, it would look pimp as hell.

I was thinking of using the red LEDs from www.8000mcd.com

LMK what you guys think.

No, nothing's going to fry. If anything, the exact opposite would happen - there wouldn't be enough power, and the whole system would be very dim. If you're going to run that many lights at once, I suggest you just rig another circuit, separate from the motors, and devote it entirely to lights. No sense in using all that AAA power to light all that up, or in having a dim light system.

looks like I'm just going to have to experiment then. I don't know how I would get another completely seperqate power supply for them and still have enough room for a 5th cell and light kit. Hopefully it wouldnt be too overly dim.

AAALs or watch batteries are the two most prevalent solutions to separate power supplies. I don't think either of them would stand up to multiple 8000mcd LEDs, though; guess you're right, let us know how the hunt goes.
