How many volts can an xmod handle?

I'm running 6 IC3's without a problem.

cool running rechargables thinking about 6 cells

im pretty sure its 7.2 volts, at least thats what i heard

I'm running 8.7V, nobody so far has tested the ceiling though. 9V is prbable possible, but I'd be afraid to go higher
