How fast does a stock mini-z go?(mph) Which is a good model? I just think im gonna get a mini-z rather than an x-mod (my friend will get an x-mod then I will probably get a mini-z :-D) they seem the same price if you get stuff for the x-mod

Good choice on getting the mini-z. I would go with a later model body on an mr-01. I heard that the nsx's and subaru's are good out of the box. Try to look for a box that's white and has the body inside a plastic display case. These are the newer models. I purchased a couple in the old brown boxes and they required a tune up on the chassis and drivetrain. After you get it go with a 7 or 8 tooth pinion on the motor. Trust me you won't be dissapointed. Just don't let him hit you and you should be ok.
