SF Bay Area Race Event - 10/20/02
 

Attention all Northern California Micro RC racers! Heres your chance to compete against other Micro bobbyists in your area! Five different tracks! BitChar-G Showcase contest with winner to be judged by participants. BitDra-G Competition (if space permits). Prizes for all winners. Discounted (possibly free) billiards tables throughout the event. Just been told that a second race event is already in the works, and the date will be announced at the event on 10/20. The next event will most likely be an outdoor event. Second event to have guest DJs, an outdoor BarBeQue, and a larger track, including a regualtion BitDra-G 12' and 20' track.

FYI: Both events are open to all microRCs 1/60 scale and smaller. However the second event may include miniRCs 1/24 - 1/43 scale due to the larger available space.

Dont forget to email microhobbies@aol.com to indicate your interest, so the event organizers can structure the event accordingly, there is also issue that because this is an indoor event, they want to be sure they can accomodate everyone (fire safety codes). The five different tracks are going to be elevated (most likely on the billiard tables themselves!). See you guys there!

Nooooo...Milpitas is too far away :( But if I went, I would be racing in full stock configurations, that mean I'd lose but I would love to watch the race.

I smell carpool.......any 1 intrested...

Argh... If there is carpool I might also consider... What are the prizes if you win? And winners are first, second, and third places correct? I fink Milpitas is like about an hour from SF, if not please correct me.

I am from San Fernando Valley Area in So cal......I really am looking for people around this area or willing to drive to my area and go from there. 18 and over please

Aww... Well 323iT is up Nor Cal and Ima in between at SF. But what are the prizes and exact admission costs? :confused:

My firend really has not money to go to this trip, but I do...So now there is defintly room for carpools. IF no one is intrested I may have to wait for trip #2. When announced at the event.
