New Place For Lights....

1 Attachment(s)
Hey... I was bored one night sitting there starring at my red Supra and messed around wit the lights and i discoverd that the bored perfically lines up wit the holes for the front cover thing.... I figure this could be useful if u have a 5th or 6th cell also the purpose that I did it was so i could have just underglow lighting only and so everytime i removed the body I did not have 2 unplug stuff..... *enjoy* (pics r a little low quality sorry!)

But still it's worth it if you have a 5th or 6th cell and want lights.

what are the 2 holes in the front tab for?

QPizzle 01-03-2004 11:19 AM

good idea, i DO have this prob. i just kinda manuevered my 2cell everytime i locked the body but now i can fit both and lose some weight :P. and yeh, it didnt reach but it was only a simple 4 wires to solder up.

Iono...I wz just looking for places for the LEDs but I soon found out they wouldent work there....

You could still put a couple high-output LEDs there, and you'd have a glow under the engine. They'd really have to be bright, though. You might even need a separate power supply.

I used a micro sized drill to drill out parts of the grill, so that it looks normal when driving around, however if I place the headlights behind the grill, you see this cool/weird light come out of the grill. I am going to add more lights to the Light kit. (If I toast it, no biggie they are a whopping $5.00, I'll just get another one) I may just get a 2nd one and run them both in the same car paralelled. When I am done, it should look really cool!

I'm asuming you know about the link about how to add extra lights in BC's list of mods.

Yes I am aware of that, I have come up with a variant of that for my "Flashing Lights". I made a removable setup so I can change what is plugged into the light kit. I have several ideas, and I want to experiment so I installed a little socket instead of just hard wiring the lights to the light kit.
