Left Joint Cup

I recently heard that if you use a stage 2 motor your left joint cup will break. Could someone tell me what the left joint cup is and why it breaks?
Thanks,
Kelley

it is not definate that it will break, just that a few peeps had probs. I have a skyline with stage 2 and IC-3s and NO PROBLEMS

Mine broke in 6 days using nothing but stock parts. (but I did use i-c3s and drove like a mad man)

A friend and I who both race stage 2 motors with IC-3 batteries have broken ours. We broke them within a week of eachother, and had to buy AWD kits to keep driving. I heard the replacement parts were all metal, so that would help.

I've been using a stage 2 motor with 6 cells and driving like a lunatic and mine is still holding up just fine.

12414314 - JOINT CUP CENTER SHAFT $2.49
12414322 - JOINT CUP CENTER LEFT $2.49

the two cups..i bought 2 left and 1 center joint...$10 plus tax with shipping

I think the plastic part can't take the stress from the more powerful motors.

So were the replacement parts metal?
