funny car project
 

hey im new to bits and clones and for my first project i want to cut the chassis in half and stretch it along with the body and make an internal tri cell mod. i want it to look like a mini funny car dragster. my question is can the pcb take the extra power without any mods? also i need to know what car i sould use. i want to be able to use the motors from www.rcmod.com. thanks for the help

I think somebody did this once.

They took a Bit or Zip, cut the chassis in half, used a AA battery holder to hold the 3 batteries and it also functioned as a stressed member of the chassis.

They put a stretched Yellow ZZ mustang body on it. It had bit rims.

Should work perfectly, just be sure you don't tweak the chassis too badly when you do it.
