should i get a microszers pro?

hello i have a regular microsizers and im thinking about getting the ms pro i heard that it just uses half the power then when you push the button it just gos to full power to seem like a boost but is it really a boost and make the car actually go faster then regularly or is just a rip? i really appreciate the help

Correct, they aren't any faster, just two-speed.

A common mod for this is to reverse the action of the boost switch so that it runs flat out all the time, and then slows for corners, etc when the button is pushed.

I think after Christmas I might try a MS Pro. They seem cool.

I have a bunch of MSPRO/Booster 2 spds. They're great. Especially with dual cells and FET mods. The 2 speeds allow you to control the power increase better.

whats an FET and are dual cells the two battery thing and if so does it really make the car go faster?

ive got 2 ms pros, you cant go wrong with the boost!........i would get another (the Evo) but they are out of stock!!!............

Pro schmo! Who needs a 2 speed? It's all in the thumbs, and how fast you can click the buttons.... Of course, there's always repetitive motion injury

Try a seach here at Tiny RC on that subject. I think there are pics too, dunno.

fish 01-03-2004 08:33 AM

yea, i did a seach with no luck...not sure exactly what it is called or anything specific.

anyone know where i can find details?

strider_mt2k 01-03-2004 12:21 PM

I didn't have much luck either.

I haven't done the mod personally, so I don't have any specific details.

If it was me, I'd carefully disconnect the two wires from the pushbutton, buy a tiny normally closed pushbutton switch from Rad Shmack, connect the wires to it and mount it in an appropriate place on the controller.

The normally closed switch will keep the car going fast until you push it, then the car will go slower. Just the opposite of what happens now.

It's probably not what you were hoping for, but I hope it helps.

Strider will that work? And wld that be a switch that stays down or up or is it some thing that you must hold down?
