can anyone tell me how to do a pigtail mod? Pics, search or tutorial would help.

Are you talking about a pigtail antenna? If so, just wrap the antenna around a pencil or pen very tightly, and then slide the pencil/pen out from the top.

does that increase the range?

i need range!!!

lol its just coiling it up but maybe by a bit

or maybe you can solder on another antenna and twist them together
