Switching controllers?
 

hey, i was wondering whether or not all of the controllers are the same except for the crystals, e.g. could you take the crystal out of your skyline controller, put it in your supra controller, and run you skyline?

all the xmod controlers are the smae just the crystals on them if u take out the crystal for ur skyline remote and put it in ur supra remote then the sky will be controled with that

would a different brand like airtronics work?

no, RS was slick, they made their TX/RX proprietary so that if your controller breaks, you have to get a replacement from them.
