SBP motor help

okay i'm not a gear head in the sense of these little electric motors. i read a thread about using the motor from an SBP. so i went out and bought one. i thought it would be a direct drop in (wiring it up of course) but now i'm confused. i was reading some other posts. so my question to you guys is...

I have a SBP motor... NOW WHAT! what can i do to get a motor better then my stage2 drift that i'm currently using. i would like close to step by step instructions. HOLD MY HAND please. im not an electronic junkie. thanks in advance..

(also soon i'll be running a 5-6 cell power supply. will this need to be factored into the motor?)

if you've dropped it in and got the brass gear onto the motor shaft then run it and see if you like it

well thing is i haven't put it in. i don'tk now how to get the brass gear off. also do i just wire to the two prongs showing or do i need the resisters/caps like the namebrand motor has?

You need a pinion puller and press (about $8) to get the brass thingy off of one motor and back onto the other (or else you'll just ruin 2 motors). Also, you do need the caps/resistors in order to prevent radio interference to/from your motor. Get out your magnifying glass to read the #s on them and you should be able to pick them up at RS.
