What batteries does everybody use?

Right now I'm just using some no-name brand of AAAs. I've got finals coming up, and I left my Xmod at home anyway, so I didn't want to splurge on rechargeables. However, I'm going to have 3 1/2 weeks over Christmas break of non-stop Xmod driving, so I'm looking into which batteries to get.

What brand of rechargeables does everyone use? I found a recharging station made by Rayovac that does AAs and AAAs, for only $12. Is that a good quality one? I'm looking to get one that does both sizes so I can recharge batteries for other things to.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

i use energizer e2......but im going to get the rechargables from rs b/c it drains them soooo quickly and they are so expensive to buy a new pack each time you run it.....

if you want ur batts to last a long time, get a smart charger from ebay, if you really dont care and want soemthing cheap, which will work OK, get a rayovac one for cheap. Energizer has some nice rechargeables, thats what im gonna use in mine when it comes. That brand doesnt really matter though, you can get no name brand batts off ebay for cheap too.

Rayovac has some good batteries, shouldn't go wrong there.

I use GP800s (not really 800mAH), Lenmar (bad build quality), and G-Maxx.

Lenmar 2 hour charger.

I have used many brand of AAA NiCads/NiMH, and have not found the brand to be of particular importance. If you're going to splurge I'd do it on a decent charger. I use a Maha C204-F at the office, and various 1-10 cell peak chargers at home.

My current favorite is a DC-only peak charger designed for RC Aircraft. I have a DC supply hanging around so it works out pretty well.

Having said all that, Sanyo cells are reported to be the favorite of most serious racer squids.
