Paper Race Track!!!
Go to:
http://www16t.sakura.ne.jp/%7Eryo907/bcgp/bcdk01.html The site tells you to print them out on paper and cut them.. but do they really work? cause there just paper..so wouldnt the car just run over it? |
uhhmm...think
You COULD glue it on cardboard... I seriously don't know why you asked that question.
|
hey, I have a track too. If you print them on paper only I suggest maybe you connect them together and play on a flat surface. For me I did my roads and markings from scratch, printed them on paper and pasted them onto hard cardboard, with plastic corrugated boards for uphills and foam blocks underneath to support them. If you use paper it might be a tad too soft? I don't know.

i have used these before, they are not actually track bits, they are track details like grand stands, pit stalls, phone booths, etc.....
|
really? Did you do them on paper? Could they stand or something?
|
they are really good, i print them on thin cardstock and on regular paper, they are sturdy and look great. plus the are really simple to build......i also use various sets on them to "kit-bash" into one little scene......the best part is, they are free and unlimited quantities...........i highly rcomend downloading and printing some
|
I mostly been into mini-z's for the past two years. But I finally bought some bits for the kids for christmas and I was looking at the site above at the track pieces. I think its workable to print out on card stock, if that is still to weak you can reinforce the inside with some scrap pieces or the backs on the curves. I would use pieces at 90 degrees.
I know this is not "rocket sceince", even if all the gluing remindes me of model rockets :D . |
I guess paper is okay but it may be alittle flimsy. I use a cardboard track.
|
lol....these are only pit stalls and grand stand type things.....lol...not actual track parts...lol....
any way...my track is plexiglass......very smay, very fast, very dangerous......lol.........it is toooooo small for fast cars......must use 1.0 motors to handle properly through the turns...lol......ill post a pic some time..... |
I meant the guard rails. You can make the road out of dark paper or posterboard.
|
ya, that would work.....i have blue foam board that i carved for my bariers...........i think im going to scrap my track that i have now and make a small Bit-Town (not enough space for a bit-city)........if only i could find some NICE track sections on the web that i could print out........

It's been some time from my last post. I made a basic track for my MS's from sturdyboard that I found at wal-mart. It's still rough right now, but it shows me that those cardstock rails work well. I am thinking about the infield rails that can be changed around. The sturdyboard is two sections that will be taped in the middle so I can fold it up and put it away. I still need to work on the corners.
