im screwed

i was driving my civic on hardwood floor with fresh batteries and i was practicing my drifting when my hand sliped on the the wheel and i hit a door (i didnt have a body on) and when it hit , the black thing that connects with the wheel, and that yellow thing the bottom part broke where a screw goes and now its just flat and it doesnt go in the hole
does anyone no where i can get a new one cause i dont have $50 to get new car, ill buy one if someone has and extra one for a few bucks

if you been reading the forums, CJ just ordered the rear drive shafts to goes in the rear swing arm and connects directly with the wheel. as for the swing arm, use the one from the awd kit for now until they release the replacement for it. the part numbers is in his FAQ stickied at the top of the forum. oh yeah, if you do in fact have the awd kit, set it up for front wheel drive for now and use the pins that used to hold the front wheel to hold the rear wheels. this is just a temporary solution until you can get teh replacements from RS. and besides, FWD is more realistic for a civic anyway hehe

good luck. btw, it won't drift like you been doing since it's FWD. it's just kinda fun having an FWD mini RC car to play with

I know this is getting way off topic, but I'm getting another rsx today and i have a extra AWD lying around. I was planing on making my new rsx a FWD. I was wondering if you can tell me what yours handles like. Does it oversteer bad? When you break does the rearend swing around? That kind of stuff.

for merc:

it understeers more now. i also had to use the ball diff because on my carpet, if i use the regular open diff, it will either wheelspin or it'll creep up diagonally forward while wheelspinning. i did not get a chance to try it on a better surface like asphalt but if i left my suspensino with the rear harder than teh front, i could probably swing it around especially if i tap the brakes while turning. if you try to turn and you gun it from a stop, it will make like a 5 ft radius turn but on the otherhand, if you were speeding by and let off the throttle just before turning, it would be quite sharp of a turn. i had teh battery position front biased to get some weight on the front wheels.
