Great new idea for a track!!!!!!!!
 

go to your local tru or poolorama or any other place that would sell pool stuff and get some of those pool noodles. they bend and curve and are soft and tall so you could lay them on the ground and tape em down in the way you want for a cool safe track and its cheap. for more easier cheaper ways figure out a way to cut them down the midle like a hotdog bun then lay them on the ground flat side down in the shape you want and thats even beter

I dunno, I definitely can see a car launching over those things at high speeds if you cut them in half...

use pvc and cover it with foam pipe insulation.........little bit of tape to secure the insulation, and its ready....and soft!

Dudes, that is really ghetto, keep it real and just race it at a tennis court or in a gym or on a basketball court or on a tile floor or something. I can hardly picture a big old green noodle with two cars flying around on it, haha. It is creative, but these XMODS need a bit more respect. I know I'm not one to talk, adding a 9V and having no rear bumper and all, but hey, pool noodles.

All this is in jest, but half-serious, hehe.

This is exactly why I said that this was in jest. I also said that the idea was creative. I'm not incriminating anyone or anything. I just gave my half-joking feedback. I hate it when people have nothing good to say as you do, but I believe my comment to be fair. People on message boards seem to be so serious all the time, both the short-sighted members and the truly interested members, but I think we'd all get along better if we were as positive thinking as we can be, then not as much offense would be taken and less defense would be given. I am truly sorry if you took offense to what I said, but I'm sure you and I both essentially agree on what the core spirit should be here. I know you may call me a hyprocrite, but that would be short-sighted believe it or not. Please hear me and do not be incriminating. I never said anything inappropriate, and by judging from my word selection as well as the nature of my commentary, my statements were truly in jest. The only thing that can be derived as totally true is that "sagelwwa" doesn't think that it is that great of an idea to use a pool noodle as a race track, but that "sagelwwa" does think it's creative. You have to look at the context of the topic (pool noodles and r/c cars, etc.), who the author is, and who the audience is first of all to understand the text's purpose, tone, and meaning, among other things. In other words you have to exegete rather than eisegete; not reading into someone elses words an attitude and meaning you expect for them to have. Please understand, and if you don't, please at least respect my concern for your thoughts of me and of others.

P.S. This is nothing personal, you just got me started on a topic about which I have a lot to say, hehe.

P.P.S. And to think this is all because of some pool noodles and perspective, haha.

That is a creative idea! I'm glad you shared it with us. Maybe you can take some pics and tell us how it works if you ever get a chance. The really big advantage to this is that if you leave a big enough lip, the cars might reach their highest speeds this way.

i have one more idea on the foam noodles track barriers, if you cut them in half you get a semi circle but if you cut them into forths you get little rounish triangles just put one flat side down and other flat side facing the inside of track and you have a nice wall.
