I would like to know myself because that is my favorite car too, hell, I own it with slight mods.
yeah if you ever do it i want to see this!!
i drive 92 eagle talon tsi awd CONVERSION to 94 eclipse gsx :p |
Well, I guess you can find a model around 1/25th scale mitsubishi eclipse. I find that 1/25th scale revell model cars fit an XMOD chassis with some minor modification.
heres a link but it is metal...http://www.revell-monogram.com/store...5&FromSearch=1 one sec... here it is! dont know if it will fit but here is a link scrol down a bit it is the fast and ferious one. http://www.modelroundup.com/amt20001.html thats what i could find. i really like the eclipse too.
Hmm...I dont think the Revell model kit would work. It says it is a metal model. It would be possible to put it on an XMOD chassis but with some MAJOR modification. I think that the AMI model kit would work much better since it is plastic.
thats what i was thinking, but i put it on there just because they were talking about revel. i totlaly agree with you, the metal would slow the car down and prob compres the suspension.
if i do get the body im getting the plastic one its cheaper and lighter. if i get it ill post pics
be sure to post pics!
can't wait to see it |
god bless you for linking to the revell site. i was looking at all their 1:25 plastic kits, and i saw some i really liked. so i decided to see if there are any retailers that sell them around here, and low and behold, the hobby shop that my friend takes biweekly trips to for his hpi needs has revell stuff. he's only taken me there once, and at the time i wasnt looking for model kits, but they have a good 4-7 bookshelves worth of models.
if your talking to me, thanks it toke me about 5 sec off google to find them.
Alot of Wal-Marts and Michaels sell Revell models around here.
