would these fit on a civic?

ok...well i found some spinners on this websight called www.playerslowriders.com and these are supposed 2 fit on a 1/24 scale model. Im not that new to xmods, but will these fit if I somehow managed 2 make the "D" shape on the rim?

they should.

How in the world would they work? Think about it for a minute. The spinner part of the rim (on real cars) is on the outside of the rim and uses the very center of the rim for a hub to spin on. If you drill a hole through the middle of the rim, and put the nut on the wheel to hold it on and tighten it up, how is the spinner part of the rim still going to spin. This will not work on these cars if you want to actually race them. For show maybe.

it's a matter of making them work. Drill your hole slightly off center then Wallow it out with a smaller bit untill you get eh right shape.
It's really hard to center a D shape. You may want ot just drill the hole, then use a peice of metal (like a small chunk of a paper clip) to lock the wheel onto the D. |

I think if you have lots of time and patience, you could get the rims to work fully. They would probably end up looking like 24's on the little Civic, but w/e. You might be able to make the spinner rims function and look good by somehow gluing the nut inside the rim maybe. Just a lil tip. I would try to put spinners on my car, but it would not look good at all. Look for "Porsche GT-1 EVO on XM" in XMods Projects and Mods ;)
