biiig problem...
 

A few days after I got my SE...well a week or so later my battery started dying faster and faster... Now they last for about a minute with the NOS motor and the lights plugged in. I'm clueless... Help?

try putting newer batteries in the your controler. If that dont work return it if not buy another battery and replace it. let us know what happens.

I'm just about to put new batteries in it but can you tell me. Are you able to return a painted body?

nope if you changed the car you can return it. would you could do is buy the same car and switch out the bodys and return the none painted one. I think the new batteries should help that is usually the problem. You could make a test run the car with stock motor and no lights then run it stock with the lights then with the nos motor no lights then nos motor with lights and recored your run times then post them. I know that the nos motor eats up the battery faster as well as the lights. the surface and gears you are using can eat up the battery faster too. what are you runing the car on and with what gears?

Naw, my friend did that and they said they couldnt take it back since it was painted.
