Help......gas powered r/c
 

Hello,
I am looking into getting a gas-powered r/c car. Im posting this here because im not sure where else to post it. What im asking is their anyone who can guide me to a good series/company/ or car. Im not sure if im going to get an off road or on road help on whitch is better would also be appreciated. Im hoping to spend around $200 dollars but if its $300 that would be ok. Thanks in advance.

Team Associated is the best in the biz. They make three Gas Powered R/C's: RC10GT, NTC3, and the Monster GT. All are great cars it just depends on what you want to do with them.

thanks alot ive been thinking about a buggy the whole time this way i can do grass as well as pavement do you know the retail on the buggy and the streetcar? also maybe the mph?

The NTC3 RTR (Ready To Run) can go 45mph stock, but you could get them goin' past 50mph or maybe even 60mph with a better engine (not saying the stock one is bad or any thing) and a 2 speed.
The kit version already comes with a 2 speed, but you have to buy an engine and a radio.
Don't be fooled buy other cars when thet say they can go 60mph stock, they can but the handleing will *SUCK* and it will have a hard time with the engine. The NTC3 can handle any small block engine on todays market!

As for the buggy. (I think your talkin' about the smaller truck?) the RC10GT RTR speed is in the mid-thrity's.
This is mainly a race truck, but its as tuff as nails, so fell free to bash it.

The stock engine is plenty to have fun and race with, in both cars, so you won't be in any rush to replace them. Fell free to ask any more ?'s.

OFNA Ultra LX Pro. It can go 46 stock and is awesome!

I take it that, thats the only gas car you have?

my first nitro car (a nitro sport) is really fast (38mph) but the downside is it needs a stronger steering servo and it is really fast in accel.

I want to get a Duratrax Nitro Evader ST. About $270 and it has everything you need (exept fuel), glow plug, glow starter, controller, batteries, etc., not to mention it has pretty good reviews, and goes around 40-50mph

go with a NTC3 RTR, it is the best street RTR around for the money. Also check out the "track test" collumn in RC Car Action to find the specs! By the way, good place to post, most of us "Tiny RC'ers" and into more than just 1/64.

I saw a Nitro RS4 once at a racing track. It left everything else in the dust-STOCK. Add a few upgrades, and you can toast everyone on the track. It's about $330.00 at hobbypeople.net.
I intend to try mounting a .010 or .020 engine in a small car, so I could use my Pico gear. Heck, it's pointless, but it should give massive torque.

have you heard of the new cen nitro rc 73.4 mph stock out of the boxe runs for around 350 ebay

ive been looking into the Traxxas T-Maxx. how is it. ive also been looking into an XTM Mammoth, 52MPH out of the box and its a RTR (ready to run). the Traxxas nitro 4-Tec is an on road car that can go 60 MPH out of the box. traxxas makes all ready to runs. i think

Most companies make RTR, and kits for assembly. The T-Maxx comes either way.

My T-Maxx smokes around the track. Check out the vid of it. Best selling monster truck for like 4 years. blah blah blah.

No, the tmaxx only comes as a rtr. I have seen you checkin out the revo on the traxxas forums. I am over there often also. My sn is jtsky. I have a nitro rustler.
