Is the Xmod REALLY worth $50?
 

Hey everyone,

I saw the XMODS in Stuff mag and I went to check out the site and I've been looking at them for a while now...I've never really been that big into RC stuff but I have some 1/43 scale models of some cars ( the modifiers ) and I thought it was cool to be able to trick them out, but they were only 10 bucks.

I'm highly concidering buying a Civic one but I'm still a little unsure about it.. I'm going to have to buy the batteries when I buy the thing or I won't be able to play with it so that is about 75 bucks right there. Personally thats quite a bit of money to just throw down on something I'm not completely sure of.

Do you think that RS is going to continue making more bodies and more add-ons that I should just wait for? I'm more than willing to wait after christmas for a kind that I want.

knowing RS, they'll make more stuff and discontinue the models they're making now. that's what happened with the zipzaps...

zip zap's started out 35 bucks too tho... so id say give it a year and they will probably be around 39.99

where are you from? i live in cali and the RS by my house has zip zaps at $25 max. They started out at $20.
