i was just driving mine out side

everything same as my sig but i was running the blue motor

damn this thing flies! has to be going 20mph, the cars driving by were barely pulling away one had to speed up since i was holding my own

4G63T 10-29-2003 07:11 PM

damn 20 mph thats fast!!

Murcielago659 10-29-2003 07:27 PM

I doubt it's 20mph. Mine only goes about 16 or 17. Yes 3mph does matter when things are this small.

Micro S2000 10-29-2003 09:27 PM

your also useing the drag motor, the top speed motor has way higher top speed

also i was guesstimating

Micro S2000 10-29-2003 09:38 PM

i just did the math and if these motors are spinning at 30,000 rpms

the drag motor your using should top out at 18 mph and the top speed motor should top out at 24 miles per hour. now i'm going to assume that there is some drag so a few miles per hour will put it around 20. maybe higher or a bit lower. another thing the energizers make my car go faster than my radio shack rechargeables so that could be it too

Micro S2000 10-29-2003 09:41 PM

more math. with no drag on the stock motor it should run at 13 mph

4G63T 10-29-2003 09:50 PM

damn for a 49.99 dollar car that's pretty fast when you think about it!:D

TwizteD 10-29-2003 11:05 PM

what do u think the stage 2 mini z motor would give u in a XMOD????

Racer240 10-30-2003 07:17 AM

Doesn't the speed also depend on what throttle your controller is set too? Hi or Lo.

I have both energizer rechargables and the rs rechargables. When i use energizer rechargables the car feels lighter when i drive but my runtime is very short compared to the rs rechargables. Rs rechargables give me about an hour of runtime going at full speed.

I wasn't using the drag motor when I estimated the speed. This was with the stage 2 blue motor.

Hey, how fast does your Stage 2 Top Speed Motor start out? Mines really slow......but I have the AWD and bearings. How about yours?
