New Supra (1st XMOD)

Just got this one yesterday. I was in 'competition' with my bro-in-law for parts, I got the bearings, he got the lights and tires and a Skyline. I preferred the Supra and made the last minute spit decision to get the red body kit instead of nothing at all.

I think I need some wider wheels and tires for that rear. It looks a little funny. So it's all stock except for bearings which in my mind is the most important starting point to mods. Next comes a motor, springs and tires. But I want to get a few good runs in as stock. As of right now my Mini-Zs smoke this car for breakfast and fart it out for lunch. hehe But there seems to be plenty of potential. Oh I also removed the drive shaft since it's not in use presently. No sense wasting friction in a rwd application!

I've got other mini and mirco RC cars as well as a bunch of 1/10 stuff as well. Been into RC for over 20 years and still loving it. The xmods were stumbled upon by accident and it only took a week to make up our minds to get them. Especially after reading the forum entries and seeing the pics on this site.

:D

Yep, 2 spoilers... all in the name of insanity.

Or as some say... "rice".

I just wanna have fun is all. :)

I figured I'd get some mixed responses. It's the same thing with my 1:1 car as well, although not quite as extreme.

Either way, it's interesting to hear what constructive things people have to say. I admit I expected worse. But you folks seem to live and let live. I like that in a forum.

Now I bet someone will ignite the flames... hehe
