AWD (Shipping Plate)
i was looking around in site,, and i found member car with AWD Kit.. and he kept his Shipping plate... is it good or bad...
here is the pic.. http://tinyrc.com/forums/attachment....&postid=124763 |
he was probably gonan take it off after takign the pic. it might get in the way of the beige plastic piece that installs in that location

well you dont need that biege piece of plastic if you keep that shipping plate on there, i guess he just wanted something to be there and be able to see the AWD stuff, but its not as strong the biege piece of plastic so now his body is not as rigid as it was.

lol i think khopari meant that he was going to leave it on instead of the beige piece. I was also thinking about that but then i realised that the beige piece is like a strut bar on a real car....the chassis probably will be able to hold itself w/o beige piece but there is still probably going to be an amount (small or big) of sway that the car will exp.

SHIPPING PLATES
I used my top and bottom AWD shipping plates to hold the stock front setup together with the dummy axle before throwing it in my parts box. That way nothing is lost and all the screws are there for reinstallation in the future.
