Carefull with those mirrors!!

I've already managed to break the mirrors on the Skyline AND RSX. All just from driving around in my kitchen, and well a little bit of bumper car action :D . I hope they come out with mirror sets, now if they get the actual "Bomex" mirrors or some sort of different mirror..., now that'd be the icing on the cake as far as details go.

for the rsx id like a nice C-west bodykit, hood vents, craftsquare mirrors, and a larger racing muffler. that would be the shizzy. Also maybe the integra (japanese) style rounded spoiler.

Hugopolo 10-20-2003 08:37 PM

Yup I also broke my mirror on the rsx by driving the side into a lamp post

I broke the mirror hitting a suitcase in my dad's basement last night. A little superglue and it's good as new.

keep an eye on that mirror, i reglued mines also and it broke again, i'm going to try and plastic weld it and maybe that'll hold up better.

TypeZer0 10-20-2003 09:40 PM

i understand what you mean but i'd rather just play with it and have real fun ya know? Yeah it's mighty ugly and an eye sore w/out the mirror but it comes with the territory.

"Battle Scars" -nuff said:D ;)

Are the mirrors made of hard plastic like the body is, or is it a very rubbery type of plastic that can be bent?

Bad Company 10-21-2003 05:25 PM

They are the same hard plastic as the body.....but that would be a good mod....hmmm.

viperkilla 10-21-2003 05:27 PM

Go for it bad company :D. From all the mods I have seen you do, I think that you probably could do that mod. A mirror made of soft plastic would be good, because if you hit the sides then it would just bend and stay contacted to the body.

Paintballa 10-21-2003 05:57 PM

yeah i hope that they come out with replacement bodies soon. even ones of the current cars that r out so that i can have a clean supra to put the body kit on when it comes out. my supra is still completely intact but its mad scratched up. i have flipped it a few times on the tennis court, hit walls, and just today i meant to switch it into hi gear but i switched the steering to left handed(doh) and i ran it under the tennis court fence so now it has a fairly deep scratch part way up the windshield and on the roof.

o well what the heck r these things for right might as well hav fun with em.

viperkilla 10-21-2003 06:05 PM

Ouch, your car got caught under the fence. That must really suck. Hey paintballa what part of Maryland do you live in? I live in Montgomery County.
