Get ready for some wheel mods.

You all know me and my wheel mods. I'm at it again. I just picked these up at the LHS. They have lots of different types. I figured I would try one set out and see how it works. I need to figure a way to drill out the half circle. I might try drilling a smaller hole on the circle side, and cut it out with a X-acto knife.

Here they are installed without the disc brakes. I still have to figure a way to get the discs behind the wheels, there is not much room with these wheels, they sit a little further in than the stock ones. They offset to the inside, so it doesn't leave you much room.

one word WOW

ridealot100 10-18-2003 02:12 PM

lol. youve had it for like 1-4 days and your already modn it. looks good except for that nylon bolt takes away from the crome

Bad Company 10-18-2003 02:18 PM

Yeah, I'm going to order some metal lug nuts to take care of all of that.

One word of advice....depending on which style wheels you get, and whether then offset to the inside or outside, you may need to install some spacers behind the wheels.

Actually, I've only had mine since yesterday. Heh

No, not yet. I'm going to try to get on the tennis courts later, they were full this morning.

Yes, the stock tires do fit pretty well on the XS wheels, but they might slide off in a tight turn. The 17" XS wheels don't have the little rib, but they are the same diameter.
