Here is my custom EVO from the "How to make skirts tutorial". I only lowered the tabs a little bit. I decided to keep the stock Zip wheels and didn't add any exhaust because I wanted to keep it simple and clean looking.

awesome.... one thing i would personaly change is lower and reshape the spoiler, with mine i shaved off the the hanging bottom part off, so that the top and bottom are the same size, shape.. to lower it, i shaved off plastic to make the pegs longer, that way it isnt so fast and furious... otherwise looks slick....

i really need to paint my evo, tho i have bad experiences with rattle cans....

Everyone has bad experiences with rattlecans, its all part of the learning curve!!

bc what color would look good on a s2000?

viperkilla 10-10-2003 02:50 PM

wow, great job bad company. When you use the spray cans how far away are you from the car. 6 inches? 7 inches?

Bad Company 10-10-2003 03:48 PM

Thanks. I usually spray from around 12 inches away. I use 2 passes for each coat, and depending on the color, 5-7 coats. I wait about 8-10 minutes between each coat.

Thanks for the info. I have been hand painting my cars and I decided to spray paint it. I bought some testors spray paint but it isnt very good. I should try another brand of spray paint.

Bad Company 10-10-2003 07:40 PM

I use Tamiya spray paint. It goes on really smooth and glossy, and dries quickly.

viperkilla 10-11-2003 07:40 AM

I've looked around in my local hobby shops, still I havent found Tamiya spray paint. Oh well, ill just go back to testors spray paint. :(
