Tomy Diecast Propo BIT
I'm thinking about buying one of those Diecast Tomy Propo BITs from HLJ. (They're on sale). However, I am just curious what they're like. I mean can you mod them, what scale are they etc.....how do they compare to the ZZ SE ? I thought there was a post on this topic but I couldn't find it. Comments are welcome.

I saw the post 2 and the cars themselves look more realistic than others (which I like), but someone in the post said something about them being hard to mod (prob because of the metal body).
I like the controller though. I don't know if this will work but try this link to the thread http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthr...threadid=13532 |
Thanks for the hookup. After reading the post....I think I will keep my cash and not buy one. Unless somebody has something good to say about them.

Yeah, I see those things all over, here in Japan. I don't see anybody bying them either. I would pick one up and try it, but I just don't trust tomy to produce a worthy propo car. I think this was just an attempt to see if they could counter digi-qs. It obviously never took off, so I'd say it didn't compete. But on the other hand the only thing bad that I've heard about them has come from people who don't own one. Although the only thing good, came from a kid who never tried dual celling a regular bit.
Soon, the stores here will try to push all their old stock out before the new stuff for christmas comes. The price will drop dramatically. I'll reconsider buying one then. If I pick one up, then I let you know. |
