Will perfection 3.8 and 150 mAH NiMH cell work with my zip zap? Please respond ASAP.

hey, i know the battery should work but i decided to ask about that too. So will the perfection 3.8 work with my old version zz or will some modding be required. I know in the FAQ it says "till it fits" or something like that but what exactly does that require?
And will the 3.8 perfection work w/o dual cell or could i put in the blue gears or keep the green like i have now? And the battery will work right? Would the bit Char-g 3.8 motor work better? I dont see a reason why its more.

battery will work

the motor will work on the newer zip zaps: ie. rx-8, 350z and such with the new pcbs

It depends totally on which zip you have. The bat will work regardless of which you have. You might have to bend the contacts in a lil till the bat makes a good tight connection. Unfortunatly if you have any of the first gen zips, ie any of the cars that came before the black mustang/champaign civic release, the 3.8 won't work properly in a single cell stock pcb zip.

I just put a 45k and 200 ni-mh in my zz

I just put one in mine and the battery fit just fine like the stock one,I bought mine off ebay ,the motor is so fast i had to goto the blue gears.heres the link of the motor I bought.
You will really be happy with the speed but i have to chrarge it 4-5 times to get full power ,but on the up side it runs for 15-20 mins no kidding.:D mine is a newer zap.the toyota supra

The 200mah battery is readily available at Toyeast.com. As for the 4.5 motor, it doesn't exist. If it is a Perfection motor, more than likely it is the 4.2 or 4.2 King motor.
