estimated life of zz motors

can anyone give a ballpark figure of how long they think a zz motor will last. i have had my nos motor for about 2 weeks and it is clearly slowing down. should i return it or what.

Same here. The dirty axel problem and weak batteries seem to be the only thing that slows these things prematurely. The motors seem to last forever if you don't slap too much juice to them with tri and quad cell mods. They are really high quality coreless motors. Better than I thought would be offered in these relatively cheap little cars.
