LED Mod - Flash to pass (Get your minds out of the gutter).
I was looking at the fusebox for my Mustang Convertible one day, and I noticed that there was a fuse for a "Flash to Pass". I had no idea what this was until a week later when I was driving at night and I atttempted to pass a car. As soon as I stomped on the gas, my headlights almost doubled in intensity. When I eased up on the acceleration, my lights returned to normal.
With all of these LED mods on all these bits, it occured to me that with a booster bit you could almost accomplish the same thing. I really haven't thought of the electrical end all that much but it would most likely entail either wiring the LEDs to the bit battery itself, or adding another button cell and a switch that's powered by the boosted function. The effect would be the same. Your LEDs would noticeably brighten whenever you press the booster button.
One caveat is the fact that I'm not sure of anyone who actually stays in the unboosted mode for very long, unless you're out cruising with the other bitpimps in unofficial bit street racing.
This idea isn't meant for racing, but there is no goal too high when pimping out your ride.
