Are Zip Zaps any good?

Well I have a Z-Car and I'm thinking of getting a Zip Zap becuase of their more detailed bodies, especially the Porsche and some of the 2 Fast 2 Furious cars. I want to know from people who have Zip Zaps if they're any good. I've heard they have poor range, bad steering, and other stuff too. How are they really?

I haven't had any problems with mine, but they are both late model ones.

If you buy a late model one, I don't think you'll have any of those problems.
And hey, parts are as close as Radio Shmack!
:D

get a 49mhz 350z or 2f2f starter set and you are good to go. 49 have better range, and i havent had any troubles with steering. and they are pretty fast now too since RS has upgraded the pcbs since the pre-xmas shipment...

i definately like bits/ microsizers much better

i've used ZZ's, bits, clones, pretty much everything. I would treat the zips equal to bits if not better. Theres something about the ZZ's...unique.

ZIPS!

Zips rule for handling, longer wheelbase = better stability. However, if turning on a pinhead is your thing, Bits and MSers are the great. Oh screw it, buy all you can of both and find out for yourself!
