first one!

I plan on getting my 1st mini rc car in the next day or two, and i'm having trouble deciding which to buy, either a microsizer pro Mitsubishi Lancer (yellow) or a microsizer pro Nissan skyline (black).

this will mostly be something to fill up my spare time this summer, i may try some light mods. I really like the specs etc. for the microsizers, but i cant decide which body style i like the best.

go ahead and please list which you would rather buy, and maybe some accessories to start off with. thanks a lot

The question's not "which one should I get"? The question is "which one do you want"? Your money, your choice!

Personally I'd go with the bB......but hey? You can do more body modding with it...... Cabo's Mod......

One more question: are there any mods I should buy to begin with, or should I just wait till I've gotten the car? I'm thinking that I will get a set of tires, and possibly some gears, but if I will get a new motor, it will be a short while, I may hold off. What do you guys think?
thanks again

ok get a perfection 4.2set from www.toyeast.com get the microsizers hop-up kit for the 8:25:1 gears and if you can solder buy a hotwheels kit racer and rip the battery out of it for a dual cell(all except 4.2 can be bought at tooys r us)

Thats my problem! Theres no Tooys R Us in California!

All they have are Toys R Us & they have NO MICROSIZERS THERE WHATSOEVER

If I were you I'd get the lancer. The black Skyline can be bought as a seprate body kit. I wish I coulld say that for lancers

MicroSpeed 06-13-2003 06:36 PM

get the lancer. you can always get a skyline body set later. If you got the skyline starter kit there isnt a lancer body set that you could buy.

My favorite & easiest mod is to do a motor upgrade. Unless you plan to run on a track, Speed is all U need! And u get that easiest upgrading your motor.
U can pick up one from our host or choose from these...

Todd has some very impressive motors:

ToysEast has too many Micro accessories! You can go broke!

As for tyres, I run the stock ones on 95% of my Micro's
I personally don't bother with gearing much but it's also an easy upgrade. A new motor will give you better results.

Good Luck!

get the skyline since its 49 mhz and has better reception in my opinion i had to take back 2 of the 27mhz cus tehy got bad distance.and i have a yellow lancer in the trading forum..

esp rocker 06-15-2003 07:48 PM

I just got the yellow lancer. i may go back later this week to buy a motor, but the fastest they had was a 2.6. since the lancer came with a 2.2, would the 2.6 be worth the money, or should i order a faster one from the internet?

also, is there any way to increase the distance? thanks

Well since toyeast has 4.2s and this site has the r-spec i would say that there r many better deals 2 be had.
