My How-to
I wrote a how-to with pics.
Check it out HERE. Look for Lowering Mods parts 1-5 and Grill Work. It specifically for the Skyline body. You'll need to adapt my techniques for different bodies. Hope it helps! ;) |
Thanks for the tip, I think I'll use that. Could you lower it even more without having anything hit?

shens are ideal for lowering. they can be lowered without making the wheelweels appear different. All you have to do is shave the wheelwells on the interior to prevent rubbing they can get SUPER LOW!!! |
you could take front wheels from a different bit or buy some, and then put those on an axle equal to the size of a bit axle, and glue it on with a gear, and do the same with the other side, except using a spacer instead of a gear. You can also use custom wheels.
This is the lowering mod from QFM. EDIT: if you do shave the inside of your body, you can take off the tabs and secure the body with putty to lower it to min. ground clearance. You may also want to use spring suspension. |
I lowered my skyline. I didnt like how the fron was higher than the rear though. so I lowered the front by 2 tabs and the rear by 1 tab. I also put a body kit on the front and rear, so it sits 1mm off the ground
