Mini RC Tank clone

These tank clones might come in handy for parts:

After looking at the picture carefully, it seems that the it's the exact same mold used by Konami for the Digi-Q's, but modified for RF and missing the combat system.

The only difference I noticed between my Digi-Q Panther winter edition, is where the turret meets the barrel. They filled it in because they didn't need the MicroIR stuff.

I'll get one to be sure, but I think you should be able to scavenge:

Motors
Gear sets
Wheels
Tracks
batteries
and Detail parts

There's another thread about these in the 'Other Tiny RC' forum where some people got them off ebay.

Not bad for $20.

Toyeast have these at a good price. I just ordered 6. I look forward to comparing them to the konami tanks I have. Even if these cant shoot I'm sure you could have fun with them. How about some obstacle course races to improve you tank driving?

$7.20US each? That's worth checking out no matter what it does or doesn't do.

An obstacle course like a slalom would be good practice for turning, which is my weakness with my Digi-Q's.

You could even practice with them while your Digi-Q's charge, you could probably get 3 or so runs in.
