i never realized this and ive seen it in all the forums but i thought they were only problems of dual cells when they drag and there spins out but doesnt flip over. my ms pro is single cell running a perfection 3.8 and after 5 or so feet with boost on my car spins in a circle n im like WTF!!! i know there are ways to fix this but ive tried all of them. new tires, new suspension, cleaned off metal shavings, any ideas? do springs work?

The only way I can get a Bit to go over 5 mph is to take out all of the moving front end peices and replace them with Zip Zap parts. Steering knuckles with tall wheels, steering arm, and cover. I got a dual cell bit with a 3.5 and high gears to go 10 mph like this.

You will need to dremmel or cut out the battery compartment right behind the front tires because the taller tire won't clear stock.

i put my perfection series 3.8 motor in my stock microsizer and when i would go in reverse it would just keep spinning and i could barely turn when i go forward...dont knwo if that is kinda what u mean

I have the same setup in my BCG booster without a problem, haven't tried in my Pro yet but I can't see that much boost coming from a single cell to make it spin out like that while moving.
How are your hubs?
Are they both tight?
If not, that's what's happening, one rear wheel is getting all the torque and causing the spin out.
Take your car in hand and hold one of the rear wheels/tyres, then try to move the other. If it moves too easily, that's your problem. Remove rear axle and use a drop of Super glue on the loose one.

hhmm when i rev it to max the axle seems to move left and right just a little bit. enought to make a sound difference. one side is quite as a mouse. the other side is loud as an lxx. is that bad? i have zip zap wheels n stuff but i switched the knuckles with microsizer ones. would they still work? and wat do u mean by cutting hte battery compartment? u mean the front so the tires have max movability?

Does that mean you have some slack on one side of the axle mount?

Did you check the wheels for play?

hog ive read a couple of your post about you using jb weld what i want to know is how do you put it in the axle slot without it making contact witht he motor contacts. and maybe if its not to much trouble can you show a pic of a jb weld mod. thanks!

Where do you get JB Weld and how much is it? :confused:

well first this thread is about securing the wheel back onto the axle i believe. which you just take the wheel off clean the grooves in the axle and put a litle jb in the wheel hole and put the axle in.

then theres my axle holder mod where you pretty much lay the car upside down. put a piece of cardboard or tape between the gear and the chassis and drip some jb into the slot and cover pretty good. remember to turn the axle every hour or two until it is almost dry. then put the car on the charger and run it under no load for 20mins or longer. it takes a few days to break in but once it does you will have an axle with very tight tolerance ie.. no slop. after a week or so it will become very very smooth and quiet. my camera is in the shop so i wont be able to take a pic for at least a few days.

its fairly easy to remove this in case you need to replace gears or something. youd have to reglue it again tho.

your question about the motor terminals: it is non conductive so if it does touch the terminals it doesnt matter.

i see i see thanks for the explanation hog ive seen you post about JB alot and always wanted to try it but i was worried about understanding exatly how you put it in the grove for the axle without shorting out the contacts now i know. (damn Moms and Pops were right you do learn somthing every day) :) now if i could only get this damn spelling thing down all be moving on up to the top.(jeffersons song) damn im old!:D

This is a little different that your problem, but maybe this will help any ways. My MS Pro turnerd fine one direction, and wanted to spin out turning the other direction. I twisted my chassis to get all 4 whhels putting the same pressure on the ground, and that helped.

But since you mention the thing with the axle, that could also have something to do with that.

My MS pro squeaks, anyone else have that problem with their Pro?
