heh for me....i hold on to the front wheels and body so that the wheels dont turn...then i shake my bit [not too hard]...yep sounds strange..but sometimes it works.... ;/

if not...sometimes u just have to take your bit apart and recenter/fix the steering magnet thingy

tinyrc 09-14-2002 03:43 PM

microsizer02, it sounds like you may need to recenter your magnet. There are several threads on how to do this, good luck!

I have the same problem with one of my cars, and noticed that one of the front wheels is lower than the other.

I took the suspension out, (springs and/or sway-bar) and let the car sit down as low as it can go, and noticed that one of the white steering knuckles was not sticking up (with the body off) as high as the other. Also I could lightly push down on one front corner, and the opposite rear wheel would rise off the ground, but pushing down on the other front corner, even a little harder, would not lift the opposite rear wheel.

I could look across the bottom of the chassis and see that one front wheel was at a different height than the other. (NO suspension) I took the white steering knuckles out to compare them, and it's very hard to see, but there is a difference.

I mounted the "bad" steering knuckles in my Turbo bit, which drives great, and it started exhibiting the same results. (pulls to the right/spins to the right easily)

Mine is a Pennzoil SE Skyline with the black wheels.

Now if I could just find someone who sold the steering knuckles...preferably with black wheels... ;)

tinyrc ...umm u mean ...supplying black tires or black rims?
black rims would be neat..although i can paint them myself

tinyrc 09-15-2002 11:11 PM

MTL, I meant the knuckles. Though we do have tires too obviously.

heh..wow.. i did not know you could buy individual specific parts like that...would you have to order those kind of specialty things from the tomy factory?
