Yea, lol, and Dookie if you were wondering what the text said, it says you can control it up to 50 feet. Probably a lie, but thats would be pretty tight if you could.

hmmm seems you guys are high on range... if you know what i mean...

i was pissed to the max after i found my BCG runs like a 6 foot range.... but then i just undid the antenna knot, and routed it straight out the back.... no knot, no folding, no putting it in the clip.... it runs about 30-40 feet... im not joking..!

basically i think that a longer antenna does wonders, but im also thinking passing the antenna under, then over the PCB allows for some... interference issues... (i should listening in physics class)....

it might look kinda strange, but give it a shot.. i guarentee you will will help!!

Yea, I thought about untying my antenna, but I thought, nah, I don't really need the range unless I am driving on a big track or outside.

Think about that a sec though, what happens to a micro RC boat in the park pond when it stops receiving 30+ feet away?

Well, it just won't respond so I guess you have to move to another area that would be closer, or walk in the water a few feet. So I guess the best thing to do is play it on a medium sized swimming pool so you can adjust your position if its out of range including stretching outwards as far as possible on the diving board :D.

I have one of those clone Yoshis. The motor is hard wired in, but looks easy to replace.

The main reason why I got one, was that tires are "double upped" (kind of) compared to the size of normal bit clones tires. If you look closely at the pic on the auction page you can see what I mean. There are "normal" tires on it, as well as these plastic ones that actually clip onto the rims. So it can corner better without flipping over, since it's base is wider.

You guys are going to probably thiink I'm lying but I have a clone that can get 40 - 42 feet OUTSIDE since thier isn't much interupting the signal. Also I did a few mods to make it have longer distance (my 2.50 clone off of ebay meant as a ginea pig now has my FARTHEST range even over my microsizer.

How'd you give it more range? Please share your secrets! :D

haha those UFO cars are only those blinking belly button domes. my girl has about 5 of those things. i think you can get them for 5 for a dollar at the dollar store. and another thing i just checked and the mini UFO isn't trademarked. they have the "TM' symbol all over the place and they don't even own a trademark. haha

Wow Xatu!!!!! I'm a Newb and you the pro yet your asking me? Anyway I bought a Panther Brand off of ebay (my first ever). Anyway what I did was cut the Crip Cap (@ lest I think it was. I just cut the thing from past pics I've seen) Then I untied the knot in the antenna unwrapped it then drilled a hole in he hood so it had like a 7" antenna

Hehe, prolly, cuz my R/C that's about 5 times bigger than those, can go like 50 feet away, and you can still see it... Just... I think I should go and see for my self, put a bit 40 feet away and see if I can see it :) be right back.

Actually, you can, but it's REALLY small. And, even if you had that kinda range, are you gonna drive it in the house? Hell no! Out side, on the street, where if it runs out of range, and there is a car coming, you won't have enough time to chase after it and save it before it gets ran over :)

BTW, I obviously have no life if I took the time to go see if I could see the car from 40 feet away, and yes... You are right, but mainly just because I just got up, I am bored :p
