For those of you that have a pullback
 

put the tires on your bit, it is so powerful after that. i got crazy grip and power on a 1 inch thick carpet...cant wait till i mod it it'll be a beast. one bad thing about it is the fact that since the tires are so soft, they pick up everything on regular surfaces. My tires were convered in crap after a brief run. it still has insane grip but for people like me who dont like our tires covered in crap, it's annoying to hafta clean it. and since it's so soft, the stuff sticks better making it harder to clean.

If you want all that crap off your tires, just push the car back and forth over the palm of your hand.

and to my amazement it actually works

Lol, I figured that out shortly after I got my first car. The crap on the tires kept getting to the point where it couln't even drive straight, so I wiped it off on my hand. Worked good!

yea i didnt think it'd work cuz logically speaking, rubbing it on your palms would just help embed the particles farther into your tires lol

my home track is pretty slick and the wider pull back tires in the rear didnt seem to perform extremely well on my track......:P but it does look cool, and it still goes pretty decent

well since your car is front wheel drive as in that's how it turns, the back tires wont really help you turns so you might wanna consider putting the front pullback tires on to the front bit rims. then it'll work better.

Where are you guys getting the pullbacks at? Are they import only? Thanks.

Since toyeast.com has these, does anyone know how reliable, and safe it is order with these guys? They seemed to have good prices, I just don't want to place an order and get screwed over when it doesn't show up. Any experiences you guys have had good or bad, please post them.

yea their cool. only problem is shipping costs.. if your only getting a couple things your gonna probably pay a hefty chunk of the overall bill in shipping. im in sac too. maybe we could order together and split shipping.

My local hobby shops has pullbacks in stock. I'm gonna pick up the R32 and R33 tomorrow.

Swiffers are a good way to clean your floor of dust. I did it to my floor, and there was hardly any crap on my tires.

If you run your car on smooth garage concrete, use Simple Green all purpose cleaner. Dilute it in a spray bottle with 50% water. You can either let it air dry or wipe it off the concrete. Either way, the tires will bite hard! Only downfall...If you try to turn, you'll just tumble.

I would like to see some photos of the tires on or off the car please.

i have rear wheels off 2 pullbacks on my car so they are the same all round

swiffers kick ass.... that's all i have to say about this.

Got my pullback today, red R32. i was gonna post the tyre mod, then i read this thread, wise minds think alike :D anyways, my bit now with a 3.0 and better tyres is like so WOW! i must have the baddest bit in the country!:eek: so anyways, i think the smaller body also has something to do with the speed, perception maybe??

Anyone tried swapping the front tyres too?

ok, i swapped the back tires too.

before this the car would flip on turcs, now with all 4 pullback tires it STICKS to the ground! :eek: and it doesn't do donuts either! so i would recommend this mod to anyone getting a pullback.

and if ur pullback does nothing but donuts, don't bother with the trim, remove the front tires. :p

by the way, my pullback is faster than my bit 3.0 :(

do the pullback tires have to come off the axle of the pullback or does the axle just transfer over

i'm thinking of ordering the new r34 skyline pullback, perfection 4.2 and a 200mah batt. that would be crazy fast

The axles are not transferable, the tires are not meant to be transfreable, but they can be transfered. The tires need a bit of stretching to go over the standard bit rims. Some guys have swapped standard bit rims with pullbacks , the smaller wheels lower the bit, and the wider rims also makes the bit harder to flip (from what I've read).

If your going to swap tires, be sure to remove the tires when not in use, i left em on, and now one tire has split :( , but only after like 2 months stretched over the bit rims. Guess i just have to get me a new pullback :rolleyes:
