Chrome Nail Polish
 

I picked up this chrome nail polish.

that's really cool! It almost gives it a brushed aluminum look. I think it'd be cool if you darken it a little to make it look more like brushed steel...mmmm delorian-ish :D :D Anywho, pretty cool I think.

Nice job with the nail polish. I always end globing things up when I try to paint with that stuff.

nail polish is kinda cool, but when u ram into a wall it chips off. plus anything other than that chrome look leaves seriously bad brush strokes in the paint. i like the chrome efect, though. cool idea.

Not bad, wonder what it would look like if you sprayed it throw a airbrush? Bet is pretty strong paint. Id like that nail color to do the inside of my door mirrors)

Noxorc, was that a clear body?No need to undercoat to get that sheen or 2 coats?

wow...i tried nail polish befor but it never came out look right...i gotta triy it with unused nail polish

I use Chrome spray paint.
No brush marks, plus it's alot tougher to chip.
Don't remember the brand but I bought it at Sears... they have chrome and a high gloss gold to that looks great on the cars.

hey hey hey....what did I do?

i use my old ladies nail files to sand my cars before painting and sanding wheel wells and crap. she got this makeup kit a while back with all these cool tweezers and stuff and as soon as she got it she bitched at me to not touch it. geez like i was going to anyhow:)

did you know they also make really good colour changing nail polish it looks better then the stuff you guys use and comes in large assortment of colours

hey i used that chrome spray paint stuff and for some reason i got these little tiny bumps the size of these ............ r they from air bubbles or what? plz help.

Heat Paint, shake well and.....well you know the routine!

nox i bought some more of that Sally nail polish used in this post. if anyone is looking they have a huge display at Wal-mart. it's $2.00 a bottle. anyway, there's a few kinds of blue chrome colors but they are in the same bottle. i got 3 bottles and everyone comes out a different color. :mad:
