fastest motor

im pretty sure its an r-spec but i would love opions exspeccially from the people who own a 4.0 r-spec and/or dks 3.4 darkside v2

edit: hhehehhe btrc

XeroGT-R 01-25-2003 04:18 PM

6.0

my cousin helped me take apart a 1.0 zip zap motor and tuned it by takin apart the motor and adjusting the wires. now that motor is capable of goin 60,000 rpm. It has the loudest wirring sound ever. and is about to over heat when i use it longer than 2 minutes so i put a wet piece of paper there. i take it out for a spin after 10 minutes the piece of paper is completly dry! and pushin the turbo button makes my car too fast too handle. I am about to do a 2 cell mod and see what happens. But im really afraid that my motor might breakdown. Currently this is the fastest motor ive seen

dieselboy 01-25-2003 07:08 PM

xero, can you exlain what exactly ya did to take the thing apart and make it spin that fast?

ShadowMage 01-25-2003 07:33 PM

hmmm...I'd be ineterested in this too (if it's possible that is) seeing as how I have two of those motors. And how do you know it's spinning at 60,000 rpms? Have you compared it to other motors? I have a hard time believing it's spinning faster than about 40,000 at most.

nrmcj 01-25-2003 07:44 PM

that's insane... 6.0... insane, but sweet!!

i'd find it impossible to actually do, cuz im clumsy and scared... lol

but ****/.... gj!

DoctorDyna 01-25-2003 09:52 PM

My 3.8 was fastest just before it broke, then my r-spec seemed faster than my old 3.8 before it broke..

Currently I'm using a 2.6 from a KIT Racer,,,what a bummer..

Silent_NightR34 01-25-2003 10:25 PM

does any1 know even how to make a homemade motor?without any big multimillion dollar machine thats to big to fit in your yard?

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 02:50 AM

Sorry guys but me and my cousin decided to not let anyone know because we worked really hard on adjusting the wiring and we dont want to just give away all the info just like that. Also if everyone knew about it then everyone around the block would be using 6.0 motors. If an idiot reads this then theyll start spreadin rumors and ill be responsible for their carelessness when they try modding and break the motors. If you want to know then do some research and if your brave enough then take apart ur motor and experiment. I checked the motors rpm by using a digital speedometer and comparing with other motors. the exact reading was 59,732 so i guess u can call it a 6.0 and remember this is on a 1.0 ZZ motor. Im currently working on a 3.8. This is really exciting but scary because the motor might burnout on the spot.and adding turbo and 2cell mod to it is like adding barrels of oil to the fire. i just hope for the best.

t-squared 01-26-2003 08:52 AM

ummm....do you have any videos?

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 11:29 AM

Ill have them in soon ill have a comparing one and a rpm reading and i ll show boosted even tho its not neccessarily boosting. Ill do stock and a dual cell mod.

dieselboy 01-26-2003 12:48 PM

ya XeroGT-R, high claims for some teenager and his friend to be making. As for not letting other people in on the secret, that is QUITE LAME. If everyone was like you there would be no crip cap mod for fear of wreckign the pcb, no dual cell for fear of melting your machine, no cat5 wire antenna mod for fear of burning out your pcb, and the list goes on and on. Its sharing discoveries that make this community what is it.

Nathan 01-26-2003 12:53 PM

Seriously. It's not like we all want to destroy the world using high-power pager motors.

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 01:17 PM

ya true then there would be no competition since 1 guy has a 6.0 the other has a 3.8. ill have a discussion with my cuz.hes the true mastermind behind all this

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 01:30 PM

hey then how come the fastest motor they have is 4.0 if 6.0 is very possible?

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 02:25 PM

because 4.0 is just good enough so that the car wont overheat. if u use the 6.0 too long u can smell the burning metal and the plastic melting.

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 03:04 PM

thenwhy does tiny say more than 4.0 is near impossible?

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 03:14 PM

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 03:16 PM

Freedom of religion you choose wat u want to believe in...

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 03:19 PM

If you think it is impossible or anything is impossible then your not going to be successful in life.

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:11 PM

:) i believe a company could but 1 person well that seems just a little unlikly but(dreams)liquid nitro cooled for motors yuuummmyyy:D

Silent_NightR34 01-26-2003 04:14 PM

ok ok...then can you just tel us how to take the motor apart? its not like your teling us how to make it a 6.0 motor...

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:20 PM

i believe you push the metal piece stiking oput in and pull the back off but i wouldnt try it unless you found this out from a trustable source

eman1 01-26-2003 04:25 PM

I say your lying but prove me wrong

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:26 PM

no1 really has to prove anything for all you know her cousin is the most incliended human with miny motors in the world

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 04:28 PM

1 Attachment(s)
On every motor there is always a silver tab there you want to remove that little tab

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:29 PM

isnt that a 4.0 motor?

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 04:41 PM

1 Attachment(s)
thats a 1.6 anyways then when u take the tab out, turn the motor upside down then push as hard as u can then the tip should pop out as seen here. Keep the little tab.

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 04:43 PM

1 Attachment(s)
Take the motor out of the shell and remove the tip off of it

Silent_NightR34 01-26-2003 04:50 PM

are thos black things magnets?...if they ae maybe u can get really really really small rare earth magnets and replace them:D

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:51 PM

cooool lookin

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 04:54 PM

1 Attachment(s)
And your off to go explore with the motor itself.

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 04:57 PM

whered you find this info if you dont wanna post publicly than please e-mail me ;)

Silent_NightR34 01-26-2003 04:59 PM

i think i know what the magents are....the magnets are in the body of the shell...i think if magnets have elecicty they get stonger right? so tmaby if you stick the thinist wire to the magnetwhen thers elctriciyt it would go faster...i donno its a thought but im gonna try it...:D

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 05:02 PM

Babykiller i got the info from my cousin. There we go silent pimp experiment. But remember to use either your crappiest motor or your broken motor or else youll end up screwin over your good motor. :)

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 05:06 PM

i know but ummmm still i want an e-mail on what ur cousin did when you have the chance

btw:i found some high torqe hiigh power 3.4 motors

GTR 01-26-2003 05:13 PM

does it matter? if u go to a race....they're just gonna go...sorry...we're not letting u play with us cuz ur motor is too fast. put in a slow one haha

or...they'll just make some super technical track where all u do is run into the walls all day

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 05:20 PM

Ya ill tell you when i get the chance cuz he really doesnt want anyone to know. I would tell but ya hes the mastermind behind everything.

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 05:33 PM

thourgh some searching i found some motors i dont know if there any good or what

(whishes not all his relitives who are masterminds that some were masterminds of mini eltric motors)

Pojo 01-26-2003 05:52 PM

Well the pager motors ring in at about 12,000rpms, but they do last very long (endurance + running time). The other ones, Mabuchi motors, are used in the Mini-Z. As for all the other really advanced ones, they sound cool!
